Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is taking action to support those affected by the recent earthquake in Turkey.
The Prime Minister has created the PM Relief Fund, and the Federal Cabinet has pledged to contribute a month’s salary. The Prime Minister has also called on the public to lend their support through philanthropy.
A team of rescue workers and a shipment of relief goods have already been dispatched from Pakistan to aid those affected by the devastating earthquake, which has claimed over 5,000 lives and injured countless others.
