The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, emphasized the importance of a well-structured and comprehensive partnership between Pakistan and the United States during a meeting with US Ambassador to Pakistan, Donald Blome.
The premier expressed gratitude towards the US for their ongoing support in Pakistan’s post-flood rebuilding and rehabilitation efforts, including at the recent International Conference on Resilient Pakistan in Geneva.
He also emphasized the significance Pakistan places on its long-standing relationship with the US. Furthermore, the Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening economic and trade relations with the US.
Ambassador Blome, in turn, assured continued US support for Pakistan’s post-flood recovery efforts and the government’s efforts towards economic development and reform.
