The Punjab Assembly Secretariat has announced that the PML-N-led Punjab government will present the provincial budget on June 13 at 2 pm during the 11th session of the Punjab Assembly. The budget meeting will be presided over by Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan.
During a recent meeting in Lahore, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif reiterated her commitment to ensuring equal access to services for every citizen. This commitment was expressed during her meeting with Provincial Ombudsman Major (R) Sulaiman Khan, where they discussed matters related to administration, good governance, public grievances, and redressal mechanisms concerning government departments.
Furthermore, the Provincial Ombudsman presented the annual report to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and briefed her about the steps taken to address public complaints and disputes. This indicates the government’s focus on addressing public concerns and enhancing governance processes in the province.
