PPP announced the ticket holders of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly

Peshawar: Pakistan People’s Party has released the list of ticket holders of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.

Party ticket for Bajaur PK-20 was given to Akhundzada. Malakand PK-23 ticket was given to former provincial president Humayun Khan, and provincial president Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha was also given Malakand PK-24 ticket.

Officer Mulk got the ticket for Shangla PK-28.

The party tickets of Peshawar PK-72, PK-74 were allotted to Razaullah and Malik Tamish respectively.

Provincial Information Secretary Amjad Afridi was given party ticket for Kohat PK-90.

Peshawar PK-80 ticket was given to Asma Alamgir’s son Zarik Khan while PK-82 ticket was given to Ziaullah Afridi. Rubina Khalid’s brother Zahir Ali Shah will contest the election from PK 83 Peshawar on the PPP ticket.

The Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has 115 seats, while 45 seats are reserved for the National Assembly for the general elections to be held on February 8, 2024.

The number of PPP ticket holders for KP Provincial Assembly is very less. It is possible that the People’s Party will announce more candidates in a day or two.

PPP is the only mainstream political party that has announced its provincial assembly candidates from KP. However, the People’s Party did not announce the National Assembly candidates from KP.

All the political parties have started announcing their ticket holders to contest in the 2024 general elections.
