President Asif Ali Zardari has tested positive for coronavirus, as confirmed in a statement released by the President House on Wednesday. According to Dr. Asim Hussain, Zardari’s personal physician, a series of tests confirmed the diagnosis, and the president has been advised to stay in isolation for recovery.

Dr. Hussain assured that a team of specialists is closely monitoring Zardari’s condition, which remains stable.

In response to the news, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his concern for the president’s health and wished for his swift recovery. The prime minister also urged the nation to pray for Zardari’s quick recovery, while ensuring that the best possible medical care is provided to him.
