The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled an impressive and diverse commentary panel for the 2025 edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL X), ensuring an engaging and dynamic viewing experience for fans worldwide.
The star-studded lineup features iconic cricket figures, including former England Test captain Sir Alastair Cook, former MCC President Mark Nicholas, and ex-players Dominic Cork and Mark Butcher. They will be joined by top international commentators, such as South Africa’s JP Duminy and Mike Haysman, New Zealand’s Martin Guptill, Bangladesh’s Athar Ali Khan, and Australia’s two-time Women’s World Cup winner Lisa Sthalekar.
In addition to the international experts, Pakistan’s cricketing legends will offer local insights. Former Test captains Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Ramiz Raja, and Aamir Sohail will provide commentary alongside analysts Bazid Khan, former women’s team captain Urooj Mumtaz, and cricket expert Sikander Bakht, enriching the analysis throughout the tournament.
A notable addition to the PSL X broadcast is the introduction of exclusive Urdu commentary for one full match, led by Ali Younis, Aqeel Samar, Marina Iqbal, Salman Butt, and Tariq Saeed. This move is aimed at making the tournament more accessible to local fans, offering a deeper connection to the action.
The hosting duties will be handled by Erin Holland and Zainab Abbas, who will keep viewers entertained and informed throughout the competition.
PSL X will kick off on April 11 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium and conclude with the grand final on May 18 at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium. The tournament will feature 34 exciting matches played across four venues: Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi.
