The capital is under tight security, with entry and exit points sealed by authorities and containers strategically placed in anticipation of the event, ensuring the safety of all participants, supposedly.

During a routine check at the rally site on Sunday morning, the police discovered hand grenades, rocket launchers, and detonators, prompting the involvement of the bomb disposal team. The rally is slated to take place near the Sangjani area, and PTI leadership, in a show of their commitment, has already visited the venue to assess the arrangements.

In preparation for the rally, PTI leader Imran Khan announced significant organizational changes. The rally is not just an event but a significant moment for PTI. Party leaders have expressed their unwavering determination to gather in Islamabad and demand the release of their imprisoned leader, Imran Khan. The rally’s rescheduling from the initial August 22 date was attributed to concerns about potential chaos, as stated by the former Premier.
