Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) has suddenly changed its candidate for the post of Chief Minister of Punjab.

Rana Aftab Ahmed Khan has now been nominated by the Sunni Ittehad Council [which also includes PTI-backed MPAs] as the CM candidate to replace Mian Aslam Iqbal.

In the current political situation, the party leadership has nominated Rana Aftab Ahmed Khan for the post of Punjab Chief Minister in consultation with Mian Aslam Iqbal.

Rana Aftab Ahmed is a five-time elected and senior-most MPA and is supported by PTI candidates in the Sunni Alliance Council.
