Peshawar: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced to sit on the opposition benches in the Center and Punjab.
This was announced by PTI leader Barrister Saif after meeting Qaumi Watan Party chief Aftab Sherpao.
A PTI delegation led by Asad Qaiser met Sherpao. The delegation included Barrister Saif, Shaukat Yousafzai and others.
Sherpao, Ahmad Nawaz Jadoon and other leaders welcomed the PTI delegation. Issues related to elections were discussed in the meeting. Both parties agreed to protest against the rigged elections.
The PTI delegation conveyed a message from the PTI founder to Sherpau, seeking his support against rigging of general elections across the country.
Sherpao also expressed his concerns about the elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
PTI leader Barrister Saif said that we have come here to talk to Sherpao on the instructions of PTI founder. The former prime minister directed us to talk to the political parties regarding rigging in the February 8 elections.
Qaumi Watan Party leader Sikandar Sherpao while welcoming the PTI delegation said that PTI has taken a positive step.
