ISLAMABAD: In view of the increasing popularity of streaming platforms worldwide, Pakistan Television (PTV) has also launched its video streaming platform “PTV Flix” on which PTV’s memorable dramas, TV shows, documentaries, sports and other programs can be watched easily.
In this regard, Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb has said in her tweet that the inauguration of PTV Flux was extremely happy, this program was launched in July 2022, PTV Flux is a new video streaming OTT platform on which the world Surface users can easily access PTV’s vast content including TV shows, drama, documentaries, sports and other programs.
She said that for the past several years, PTV has produced content that has become a national treasure today, popular dramas like Dhup Kanare, Aynak wala Jin and PTV shows have become a part of our collective memory. Flix has a rich library of current and older content that users can easily access.
The Information Minister said that this initiative will reconnect our youth and elders with the PTV content that has left an indelible impact on countless lives, downloading the PTV Flix application on both Android and iOS platforms.
Maryam Aurangzeb said that she is grateful to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the PTV team for the successful launch of PTV Flix, and congratulates them for their hard work in making this idea a reality.
It should be noted that the launch ceremony of PTV Flix was held yesterday in which actors Bushra Ansari, Javed Sheikh and Khalid Abbas Dar also participated.
