DERA GHAZI KHAN: Bandits in the riverine (katcha) area of Rujhan tehsil, located in the trans-Indus district of Rajanpur, have expressed their willingness to surrender to the police.
Their condition for surrender includes providing education for their children and ensuring a fair trial for the cases registered against them.
They pledged to cooperate with the police in restoring peace throughout the entire riverine area by eliminating gangsters.
In a video clip, the leader of the Omrani gang, accompanied by children from his clan, announced their intention to surrender along with their weapons. He thanked the mediators who played a role in persuading them to make this favourable decision.
The video featuring Gora Omrani and the children of his clan has gone viral on social media platforms.
Rajanpur District Police Officer (DPO) Dost Muhammad said 25 bandits had been arrested in an ongoing police operation in the riverine area.
