Seven laborers were tragically killed in an attack by armed assailants in Balochistan’s Panjgur district. The incident occurred when militants stormed a house in the Khuda Abadan area, opening fire indiscriminately and leaving seven dead and one seriously injured. Security forces and police responded swiftly, transporting the victims to a nearby hospital and launching a search operation to track down the perpetrators. The outlawed Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has been held responsible for the attack.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the senseless killings, vowing to bring the attackers to justice. This incident follows a similar assault in Balochistan’s Musakhail district just weeks ago, highlighting the ongoing threat of militant violence in the region. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also expressed his deep sorrow and condemned the brutal killing of the laborers, emphasizing the government’s commitment to eradicating terrorism in Pakistan.
