South Africa’s chase began poorly with captain Aiden Markram falling early for just three. Noman Ali struck twice more to leave the visitors reeling, while Shaheen’s fiery pace in the morning session ensured no recovery. Dewald Brevis offered resistance with a quick 54, but Pakistan’s bowlers remained relentless.
Shaheen wrapped up the innings with figures of 4/33, while Noman finished with 4/79, completing a 10-wicket haul in the match. Pakistan’s earlier total of 378 was anchored by Imam-ul-Haq and Salman Agha, both scoring 93, while spinner Muthusamy shone for South Africa with 11 wickets across the match.
