Former Pakistan cricket captain, Shahid Afridi, commended his son-in-law and the national team’s lead fast bowler, Shaheen Shah Afridi, for his outstanding performance against Australia. Afridi took to social media, specifically X platform, to laud Shaheen’s five-wicket haul, improved line and length, and the impressive opening partnership between Imam-ul-Haq and Abdullah Shafique.

In a closely watched match, Australia set a formidable target of 368 runs. Despite Pakistan’s valiant effort, the team was restricted to 305 runs, resulting in a 62-run loss.
