Shehbaz Sharif Lands in Doha for Two-Day Official Visit to Strengthen Pakistan-Qatar Ties

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Doha on Monday for a two-day official visit to Qatar at the invitation of the Amir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, according to the Prime Minister’s Office.

Upon his arrival at Hamad International Airport, the prime minister was warmly received by Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Khulaifi, along with Pakistan’s Ambassador to Qatar, Muhammad Aamer, and senior diplomatic officials.

The prime minister is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi.

During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz is expected to hold bilateral talks with the Qatari Amir. Discussions will focus on boosting economic cooperation, deepening energy collaboration, and enhancing people-to-people connections between the two countries.

Both sides are also likely to explore opportunities to expand trade and investment, strengthen energy partnerships, promote infrastructure development, and increase the export of skilled workforce from Pakistan.

The visit highlights the longstanding brotherly relations between Pakistan and Qatar and reflects the shared determination of both leaderships to further broaden their cooperation across multiple sectors.
