He made these remarks at the First Pakistan International Date Festival, where he expressed gratitude for the Khalifa International Award for agricultural products and acknowledged the UAE’s cooperation in organizing the International Date Palm Festival at Expo Center Karachi. Shah also emphasized the significance of date cultivation in Pakistan’s agriculture and the country’s prominence in the global date market.
Furthermore, he mentioned the potential for expanding date cultivation in various regions and the adoption of models from Gulf countries to further these efforts. Additionally, Shah underlined the need for advanced breeding programs and highlighted the commitment to enhancing post-harvest processing and value addition in the industry.
