As reported by India Today, Anurag Kashyap intervened, sternly reprimanding Nawazuddin for excessively channeling the renowned actor. “You’re overdoing the Al Pacino act,” Kashyap admonished him. This confrontation left Nawazuddin dispirited, disrupting his sleep and prompting him to abandon the façade overnight.

Nawazuddin recounted, “The next morning, when I returned to the set, I appeared simply as myself, Nawaz.”

Anurag Kashyap’s directorial masterpiece, “Gangs of Wasseypur,” introduced a roster of fresh and exceptional talents, propelling Manoj Bajpayee to stardom overnight.
