Finn Wolfhard voiced his admiration for his colleague and fellow cast member of Netflix’s “Stranger Things,” Noah Schnapp, following Schnapp’s recent coming out.
During a recent interview with GQ magazine, the 20-year-old Wolfhard expressed his elation upon learning the news. “I was grinning from ear to ear,” he said. “I couldn’t be prouder of him.”
Wolfhard and Schnapp, who portray Mike Wheeler and Will Byers in the popular sci-fi series, have been friends since the show’s premiere in July 2016.
On January 5th, 2023, Schnapp announced that he was gay in a TikTok video, saying “After 18 years of being scared in the closet, I finally mustered up the courage to tell my friends and family. And you know what? They told me, ‘We already knew.'”
The cast of “Stranger Things” will soon be reuniting in Atlanta for the start of filming the fifth and final season.
