South African golfer Ockie Strydom pulled off a phenomenal comeback at the Singapore Classic on Sunday.
With a final-round score of 63, he became the first South African to win a DP World Tour event held in Singapore. Strydom beat Finnish golfer Sami Valimaki by a single shot with a stunning chip onto the 18th green followed by a birdie putt.

South Korea’s Wang Jeung-hun and Spain’s Alejandro Del Rey tied for third place after both posting 71s, alongside Marcel Schneider who closed with a 69 at the Laguna National Golf Resort Club.
