In a successful intelligence-based operation (IBO) carried out in South Waziristan, the country’s security forces dealt a decisive blow to terrorism, eliminating six militants. The operation, targeting the reported presence of terrorists in the vicinity of Kot Azam, witnessed an intense exchange of gunfire between the security forces and the terrorists.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military’s media affairs wing, confirmed the elimination of the six terrorists, underscoring the effectiveness of the operation. Alongside neutralizing the militants, the security forces also seized a cache of weapons and ammunition that were in their possession.
