In a tragic incident, a group of terrorists launched an attack on two vehicles transporting security forces in Gwadar, resulting in the martyrdom of at least 14 soldiers, according to a statement from the military’s media arm, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). The attack took place as a security convoy was en route from Pasni to Ormara in Gwadar district.
The ISPR reported that a sanitization operation was already underway in the area, and it vowed to track down and bring to justice those responsible for this abhorrent act. The ISPR emphasized the unwavering commitment of the security forces to eradicate terrorism from the nation, and it noted that the sacrifices of these courageous soldiers only bolster their determination.
Interim Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani unequivocally condemned the terrorist assault.
