The Armed Forces of Pakistan have vowed that any aggression against the people of Pakistan, its sovereignty and territorial integrity will be responded to with full force and without hesitation.
On the fifth anniversary of “Operation Swift Retort” today, Inter Services Public Relations said in a statement that 27 February 2019 is an important day in our history, a testament to the determination of the Pakistani people and the professionalism of the armed forces.
The statement said that the day marked the full operational escalation of Pakistan’s armed forces towards India.
It further stated that the tenacity and capability of Pakistan’s armed forces has been recognized by military experts and analysts worldwide, effectively refuting frivolous Indian claims.
The statement concluded by saying that as a state committed to peace, Pakistan will continue to emphasize the importance of peaceful coexistence with its neighbours.
