The federal cabinet expressed satisfaction over the government’s efforts to promote investment

The federal cabinet has expressed satisfaction over the steps taken regarding the restructuring of various departments of the caretaker government, promotion of foreign investment and ease of doing business.

The meeting was chaired by Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar in Islamabad.

The Cabinet approved receiving the Turkish Armed Forces Lee Jin of Merit Award on behalf of Army Chief General Asim Munir in recognition of his efforts to promote Pak-Turkish cooperation in the defense sector.

The meeting also approved the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of National Food Security and the UAE company Khalifa International Award for Dates and Innovation in Agriculture. Under this MoU, the first Pakistan Dates Fair will be held in September this year with the aim of increasing date production.

In his comments on this occasion, the Prime Minister said that the caretaker government is leaving the country’s economy in a better condition than before. He said that the cabinet showed excellent performance in this short time.

He said that we are leaving an action plan for the elected government which will surely prove useful for the people and national interest.

The Prime Minister said that the country’s interest was always given first priority in all the decisions and policy making of the caretaker government. He said that we have to work together for the development and stability of Pakistan.
