The federal cabinet has given permission to Pakistan Television Corporation to make payments to foreign broadcasters for broadcast rights of sports events.
The cabinet meeting in Islamabad today with Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar also approved the transfer of spare parts and new tires for the vehicles of the country office of the United Nations Development Program in Afghanistan from Karachi Port to Kabul.
It was informed that such imports and their transfer to Afghanistan are prohibited to prevent smuggling in the country.
However, under the United Nations development program, the above mentioned spare parts and tires will be used by the United Nations.
