Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham’s upcoming movie Pathaan has been in the middle of numerous debates and controversies since the release of its song Besharam Rang. The music, in which Padukone puts on a saffron-coloured bikini, has not inspired many people across the extreme Hindu Cult. It has distressed predominantly right-wing politicians, religious fanatics, and self-proclaimed moral police.
Activists have staged protests against the upcoming Bollywood film Pathaan and its song Besharam Rang since the release of the song. They fumed over an effigy of Shah Rukh Khan and called for its banning for hurting Hindu sentiments. The upcoming movie has already stirred controversy as many Hindu Extremist groups attribute it to an attack on their values.
Lately, a Hindu group vandalized a mall in Ahmedabad over the ‘Pathaan’ promotion on Wednesday. They tore down posters of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.
