The radicals screamed loudest and delivered least. Decades of rage, sloganeering, and performative resistance built no army, produced no technology, and secured no border. The noise was magnificent. The results were catastrophic. Even sympathetic Western intellectuals, watching from a distance, wrote with quiet certainty that this collapse was not a possibility but a scheduled arrival.
Israel did not stumble into dominance. It engineered it, with patience, precision, and a strategic clarity that its opponents consistently underestimated and consistently mocked. While Muslim-majority nations spent their energy performing grievance on the world stage, Israel was rewriting the terms of engagement, redrawing mental maps, and positioning itself to reshape physical ones. The Middle East that existed in living memory is being dismantled, not by accident, but by deliberate design, border by border and calculation by calculation.
The deeper failure is not military. It is civilizational. Muslim nations chose consumption over creation, dependency over development, and imported convenience over indigenous innovation. They assumed the global order was neutral, that Western institutions were genuinely fair arbiters, and that international rules applied equally to the powerful and the weak. These were not innocent misreads. They were willful illusions maintained because the truth demanded too much sacrifice and too much honest self-examination.
The question that now confronts the entire Muslim world is not about Israel or America or the architecture of Western power. It is about whether this generation possesses the courage to change voluntarily, before change is imposed through further devastation and deeper humiliation.
History has never been gentle with civilizations that refused to evolve on their own terms. The choice remains open, barely, and not for much longer. Wake up by will, or be woken by catastrophe. Both are coming. Only one preserves dignity.
