The move caused chaos in the court as the accused reacted angrily, forcing special court judge Abul Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain to issue a warning.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi snatched the case file from the state defense lawyer and threw it against the wall. Similarly, the former chairman of PTI repeated with the judge during the hearing held in Adiala Jail.
According to the court decision, Malik Abdul Rahman and Hazrat Younis will represent the founder chairman of PTI and Qureshi respectively as defense counsel and cross-examine the prosecution witnesses.
