Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan claims to have killed the head of ISIS in Syria

Turkish intelligence forces have killed the suspected leader of Daesh during a covert operation in the northwest region of Syria’s Jandares.

According to foreign media reports, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced that the Turkish intelligence forces have killed the suspected head of the ISIS group, Abul Hussein al-Husseini al-Qurashi.

Speaking to the media, Erdogan said that Turkish intelligence had been looking for and pursuing the alleged leader of ISIS for a long time.

According to the foreign news agency, the operation was carried out in the northwestern region of Jandares in Syria, which is under the control of the Turkish-backed rebel group.

Turkish President Tayyip Erdoğan added in a conversation with the media that we will continue our struggle with terrorist organizations without any discrimination.

However, no statement has yet come out from ISIS regarding the death of its leader.
