After warning of the threat of a possible terrorist attack, several educational institutions in Islamabad were closed to avoid any disaster.
Sources claimed that the banned outfit had planned to carry out multiple ‘terror attacks’ on educational institutions, particularly schools and universities, in Islamabad.
Sources in Threat Alert said that the ‘terror attacks’ were planned by female suicide bombers affiliated with banned organizations between January 22-24.
Police officials have claimed in a statement that security arrangements are tight in the capital, but caution has been advised for election rallies and public gatherings in the federal capital.
