US Election: 7 Days to Go – Poll Results and Campaign Moves by Harris and Trump

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

With just a week until Election Day, Vice President Kamala Harris will be in Washington, DC, while former President Donald Trump heads to Pennsylvania, a critical state for both campaigns.

On Sunday in Michigan, Harris promised to move beyond fear and division during a rally. At the same time, Trump criticized his rivals, including former First Lady Michelle Obama.

Polls show Harris and Trump are very close, with results expected to be tight in key states. Current data from FiveThirtyEight indicates Harris has a slight lead nationwide, but the difference is small.

Seven swing states are likely to determine the election: Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, Michigan, Arizona, Wisconsin, and Nevada. Both campaigns are heavily focusing their resources there.

In Michigan, Harris is working to energize young voters and has addressed protests during her events. Meanwhile, Trump, at a rally in Georgia, defended himself against accusations of extremism and insulted Harris.

Looking ahead, Harris plans a major speech in Washington, while Trump will continue to campaign in crucial states like Pennsylvania, trying to win over voters, especially the Puerto Rican community.

Analysts believe that winning Pennsylvania could significantly boost either candidate’s chances of winning the presidency, making this state a key focus for both campaigns.
