US Emphasizes Diplomatic Negotiations for Palestinian State, Rejects Unilateral Recognition

[post-views]

The United States, in a significant development, has expressed its position that the establishment of a Palestinian state should be achieved through diplomatic negotiations, not unilateral recognition. This response, delivered by White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan during a routine news briefing, clearly indicates the US’s disappointment with the decision of three European nations to proceed with unilaterally acknowledging a Palestinian state.

Sullivan further emphasized that each country has the sovereign right to make its own determination regarding the recognition of a Palestinian state.
