The talks, co-chaired by Pakistan’s Nabeel Munir and US official Gregory D LoGerfo, focused on threats from the Baloch Liberation Army, Daesh-Khorasan, and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan. Washington lauded Pakistan’s counterterrorism efforts and offered condolences for recent attacks, including the Khuzdar school bus bombing. Both sides agreed to enhance institutional frameworks and capabilities to address evolving security threats, including misuse of emerging technologies by terrorist groups.
