During a congressional oversight committee hearing, Cheatle described the attack on Trump during a campaign rally as ‘the most significant operational failure of the Secret Service in decades.’ However, she faced backlash from lawmakers for not providing specific details about the attack due to ongoing investigations, which are focusing on multiple angles.
