Zardari calls for fair wages amid skyrocketing inflation

With a goal to ease the struggles of hardworking laborers in light of rising inflation, former president and PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has suggested that the coalition government increase the lowest salary to Rs35,000.

Zardari emphasized that the government needs to step up and take the reins in determining fair wages for employees, according to a recent statement. “The government has a duty to offer a helping hand to these workers,” he said, adding that significant measures should be implemented to tackle the problems faced by the common people.

It’s worth mentioning that the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif-led coalition government previously declared a minimum wage of Rs25,000 for unskilled workers.
