ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has strongly condemned Israel’s repeated violations of the Gaza ceasefire, which have killed at least 32 people in the latest attack, the Foreign Ministry said Sunday. Islamabad described such actions as undermining peace and stability in the Middle East.
Since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, Israel has breached it nearly 1,000 times, according to Gaza’s Government Media Office. Palestinian health authorities report around 500 deaths and over 1,400 injuries.
In a joint statement with Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Qatar, Türkiye, and the UAE, Pakistan called the violations a “direct threat” to the ongoing political process and international peace efforts, including the second phase of the Trump peace plan and UN Security Council Resolution 2803.
The ministers emphasized the need for full commitment to peace, urged restraint from all sides, and reaffirmed support for Palestinian self-determination and statehood under international law, highlighting the importance of conditions for recovery and long-term stability in Gaza.
