Prince George appears to be embarking on a series of historic milestones as the constraints within the royal family begin to ease, paving the way for a more contemporary approach to monarchy.
A trusted confidant of Prince William, who happens to be a close associate, revealed that both the Prince and Princess of Wales desire their three children to have the freedom to pursue their chosen careers, regardless of their impending royal duties.
“In principle, there are no restrictions on George’s aspirations, be it his dream of becoming an astronaut or any other path he chooses. He could potentially ascend to the throne after pursuing his passion,” the source disclosed to Mail on Sunday. “The landscape has changed; he is not bound to follow the traditional trajectory of military service and then assume royal responsibilities,” as reported by Express.com.uk.

The insider further affirmed that this same principle applies to George’s younger siblings, Princess Charlotte, aged 8, and Prince Louis, aged 5.
Prior to George, who is now 9 years old, it was customary for the royal children to partake in military training within the British Armed Forces, alongside their academic education, adhering to a time-honored tradition.
