ECP Announces Polling Scheme for the General Elections, 2024

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced the details of polling stations and booths for the upcoming elections on Feb 8.

The commission said that a total of 90,675 polling stations have been set up across the country, out of which 25,320 polling stations are for men and 23,950 are for women.

In addition, 41,405 mixed polling stations will also be functional.

The details showed that around 50,944 polling stations have been arranged in Punjab, including 14,556 for men and 14,036 for women, as well as 22,352 mixed polling stations.

Similarly, around 19,006 polling stations have been prepared in Sindh, consisting of 4,439 for men, 4,308 for women and 10,259 joint polling stations.

Around 15,697 polling stations have been organized in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with 4,814 for men, 4,289 for women and 6,594 mixed polling stations.

Around 5,028 polling stations have been established in Balochistan for both male and female voters.

Moreover, around 149,434 polling booths have been allocated in Punjab, 65,005 in Sindh, 47,081 in KP and 14,882 in Balochistan.
