The Election Commission has appointed tribunals in Balochistan and Sindh for election petitions

The Election Commission of Pakistan has constituted election tribunals in Balochistan and Sindh to deal with election petitions.

The Election Commission appointed Sindh High Court Justice Muhammad Karim Khan Agha and Justice Adnan Iqbal Chaudhry as Election Tribunal for Karachi Division. Justice Muhammad Iqbal Sukkur and Shaheed Benazirabad division, Justice Amjad Ali Mirpur Khas and Hyderabad division while Justice Muhammad Saleem will be the election tribunals for Larkana division.

Similarly, Balochistan High Court Justice Abdullah Baloch, Justice Rozi Khan Bardich and Justice Muhammad Amir Nawaz Rana will be the Election Tribunal of Balochistan.

The commission made these appointments on the recommendations of the Chief Justice of Balochistan and Sindh High Courts.

The tribunals will consider petitions relating to national and provincial assembly constituencies for general elections and subsequent by-elections.

CPEC and Local Development China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) offers an opportunity to integrate Balochistan into regional and global trade networks. Priority should be given to Baloch youth for training, employment, and entrepreneurship support. 7.
