They have reiterated the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination, urging the international community to intervene and halt India’s human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). They have also called for the alleviation of the Kashmiri population’s suffering and the adherence to UN Security Council (UNSC) resolutions. President Zardari has condemned India’s ongoing acts of aggression in the region and reaffirmed Pakistan’s moral, diplomatic, and political support for the Kashmiri cause.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has underscored the struggles endured by the people of IIOJK during the 77 years of occupation. He has strongly criticized India’s actions since August 5, 2019, when it revoked the region’s special status, accusing India of undermining its status and denying the Kashmiri people their democratic rights. The Prime Minister has pledged that Pakistan will continue to provide unwavering support to the Kashmiri community, condemning India’s actions in the strongest terms.
Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan, and SAFRON, Engineer Amir Muqam, has reiterated Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to supporting the Kashmiris. He has denounced India’s human rights abuses in IIOJK and commended the resilience of the Kashmiri people in their struggle. His words reaffirm Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Kashmiri cause.
