Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has firmly denied reports of any negotiations with the leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). During a visit to the D-Chowk area in Islamabad, Naqvi stated, “I want to clarify that no negotiations are taking place.”
He hinted at developments regarding talks but refrained from providing details, telling reporters to “wait for a few hours” for more information.
Naqvi emphasized the government’s intent to protect its citizens and issued a stern warning to those attempting to reach D-Chowk, stating that anyone trying to enter would be arrested. “It is not possible for them to come here and simply leave,” he asserted.
