Belgium parliamentary representatives to visit Pakistan

From January 16 to 21, a team of Belgium lawmakers led by Senator and Chairperson of the Pakistan-Belgium Parliamentary Friendship Group Allessia Clots is formally visiting Pakistan at the request of National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf.

This trip will help to improve legislative collaboration between the two nations and bilateral connections between the two countries. Additionally, during this tour, new opportunities for trade and economic collaboration will be investigated.

Allessia Claes, Karl Vanlourve, State Senator Philippe Courard, PS, State Senator Georges Dallemagne, Les Engages, Member of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives, and Senior Officers of the Belgium Parliament make up the delegation from that country’s parliament.

The Belgium parliamentary delegation will meet with Senate Chairman Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani in addition to National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf. The delegation would also meet in person with the head of the Women’s Parliamentary Caucus and the convener of the Parliamentary Task Force on Sustainable Development Goals. The team would also meet with Governor Punjab in Lahore in addition to touring Texpak, a Belgium company, and the Badshahi Mosque.
