The Asian Games in China have kicked off with a futuristic display of technology, featuring an array of self-operating pest control devices, unmanned ice-cream vans, and robotic pianists.
After a one-year postponement due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the games began this Saturday, welcoming approximately 12,000 athletes, as well as a plethora of journalists, tech enthusiasts, and spectators to the host city, Hangzhou.
As a central hub for China’s tech sector, the city is showcasing a diverse range of robots and impressive gadgets designed to assist, entertain, and enforce regulations for event attendees.
