Actor Paul Grant, who starred as a Goblin in the Harry Potter series, has passed away at the age of 56 after collapsing outside Kings Cross Station. The news was confirmed by his family who announced that Paul was declared brain dead by physicians after he was rushed to the hospital. His life support was eventually switched off on Sunday, marking a tragic end to his life.
Paul’s daughter, Sophie Jayne Grant, expressed her grief over the loss of her father and hailed him as a legend who always brought a smile to people’s faces. She remembered him as an actor, father, grandad, and an avid Arsenal fan.
Apart from his memorable performance as a Goblin in Harry Potter, Paul had also worked alongside Hollywood legends Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford in the sci-fi classic, Return of the Jedi.
The entertainment industry has lost a gifted performer and the Harry Potter fandom is mourning the loss of a beloved Goblin.
