Latif Khosa, a well-known lawyer, has criticized the arrest of the former Prime Minister, Imran Khan, as unconstitutional and illegal. He expressed hope that the Supreme Court would provide relief to Imran Khan, according to Republic Policy News.

Khosa alleged that Imran Khan’s arrest was a violation of the law and an attempt to sideline the election issue.

He further said that the people responsible for the arrest did not believe in democracy, and the Supreme Court’s decision was not conveyed to the Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Aamer Farooq, due to which the arrest was declared legal.

Khosa also accused Imran Khan of contempt of court for damaging the property of the High Court during his biometric verification inside the IHC premises.
