Sirajul Haq, the head of Jamat-e-Islami (JI), cast blame on the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for the country’s economic struggles during a public speech on Sunday.
The JI emir decried the nation’s ballooning debts and slammed the corrupt leaders who have “dragged the country into a quagmire.” He also bemoaned the lack of justice for the people, skyrocketing inflation, and called out other political parties for facing corruption allegations.
However, he emphasized that the JI is the only political party in Pakistan that has never been accused of corruption. In conclusion, Haq urged his supporters to vote for the JI in the upcoming elections.
