Launch of 8300 service to locate polling station

Election Commission of Pakistan has started 8300 SMS service for registered voters. According to ECP, voters can get advance information about their details and polling station through SMS.

The Election Commission says that voters should send their National Identity Card to 8300 to get complete information. The charges for this service are fixed at Rs.2 per SMS.

Meanwhile, the ECP has introduced a WhatsApp helpline for citizens to register their election grievances.

The ECP has already set up an Election Monitoring and Grievance Center to redress voter grievances related to general elections.
