ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf leader Barrister Gohar Khan on Sunday released PTI’s manifesto for the elections to be held on February 8, 2024.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Barrister Gohar said that the title of PTI’s manifesto is “Splendid Pakistan, Beautiful Future and Let Go of Bad Past”.
Announcing the election manifesto, he said that PTI’s manifesto is based on ‘New Pakistan and a system of change’ and he said that he would introduce amendments to the constitution after coming to power.
He further said that due to this amendment, the Prime Minister will come to power directly because of the votes of the people and he will not depend on the votes of a few MNAs.
He further said that the term of the party assembly will be reduced from five years to four years and the term of the Senate will be reduced from six years to five years while 50 percent of the senators will be elected directly by the people. .

He specifically highlighted that the party’s manifesto is one nation, one law so that all are equal while mentioning that two laws cannot work in one country as the rule of law is the most important thing.
Gohar further said that after coming to power, PTI will set up a Truth and Reconciliation Commission to deal with the injustices faced by the common man.
He added that if his party comes to power, it will also provide social security to all people.
The PTI leader stressed that it is important to get rid of corruption and promised that the party will introduce a measure that will keep a strict watch on the issue.
Talking about the foreign policy, the PTI leader said that Pakistan needs to have equal relations with all countries.
