Pakistan has welcomed the call by Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council to convene comprehensive talks in Riyadh, describing the initiative as a positive step toward ending the long running conflict. Islamabad has once again urged all Yemeni parties to participate in the dialogue sincerely and in good faith, with the aim of reaching a negotiated political settlement based on mutually agreed principles.
Pakistan reiterated its firm support for Yemen’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, stressing that any durable solution must respect these fundamentals. Officials in Islamabad emphasised that peace in Yemen can only be achieved through inclusive political engagement rather than prolonged confrontation.
Highlighting the bonds of unity and brotherhood with the Yemeni people, Pakistan expressed hope that ongoing regional and international diplomatic efforts will help create conditions for lasting peace and stability. Islamabad said it remains committed to supporting initiatives that encourage dialogue, reconciliation, and a peaceful resolution to the crisis for the benefit of Yemen and the wider region.
