Peshawar’s id checks for hotels

The Peshawar city authorities have instituted a restriction on lodgings in hotels and guesthouses unless residents can provide their national identification (CNIC) and other related papers.

The metropolis administrators announced that this prohibition was established following the catastrophic explosion at the Peshawar Police Lines that claimed the lives of a minimum of 100 individuals on January 30th.

The district administration declared that an increased level of caution has been initiated in parking lots, commercial centers, and densely populated areas within the city.

They added that stringent guidelines have been set in place to intensify the surveillance of automobiles and motorcycles, and temporary checkpoints have been erected.

The vast majority of the casualties in the suicide bombing were brave police officers. The suspected suicide bomber reportedly entered the mosque disguised as a police officer, according to the IGP of KP.
