The Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 is expected to resume between May 17 and 25, with final decisions on venues and player availability still in discussion. The tournament was previously put on hold due to regional security concerns, just as it entered its final stage with only eight matches left.

To simplify logistics, franchises have proposed hosting all remaining games at a single venue—either Lahore or Rawalpindi. However, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has suggested restarting the league in Rawalpindi and holding the grand final in Lahore.

Meanwhile, teams are in the process of confirming which foreign players will return. While some overseas players have agreed to participate, others remain uncertain, prompting the PSL and franchises to prepare backup plans. These include organizing a replacement draft or temporarily easing the rule requiring a minimum number of foreign players per team.

A final decision on the format, location, and player rules is expected by the end of the day.

Before the tournament was paused, Quetta Gladiators topped the points table with six wins in nine games, already securing their spot in the playoffs. Karachi Kings and Islamabad United follow closely in second and third, both with 10 points. Lahore Qalandars are in fourth with nine points, while Peshawar Zalmi hold fifth with eight points. Multan Sultans have been eliminated after winning just one of their nine matches.
